Background & Experience:
Eddy has worked on site at both multifamily and commercial properties, leading teams in management of both commercial and multi-family properties. He has multiple certifications, including HVAC and CAMT. His largest managed portfolios were almost 1000 doors in the multi-family space and nearly 400,000 square feet of mixed use commercial buildings.

Current Role:
As the Maintenance Operations Manager, Eddy oversees and supports the crews in-field, as well as vendor management, technician education, work order scheduling, processing and estimates for all work done at our many properties across the front range.

Interests & Goals:
Eddy enjoys his time with his wife and 4 year old son, taking frequent trips to the Denver zoo and Museum of Nature and Science. Eddy also volunteers heavily in his community, with food drives, community outreach and at-risk young adults. Eddy is excited to be a part of the Walters and Company team to help with our goal of growing as the #1 property management company in Colorado.

As the Controller of Walter’s and Company, I am responsible for the integrity, transparency, and accuracy of all financial reporting across a diverse portfolio of properties. I ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, while delivering timely and actionable financial insights to both property owners and tenants. My role involves hands-on management of day-to-day accounting operations. I collaborate closely with property managers to address and resolve financial transaction issues, develop streamlined accounting procedures, and implement best practices that improve operational efficiency and financial performance.

Current Role:
As a Portfolio Manager, I ensure that over 100 investment properties are successfully leased, meticulously managed and well-maintained. My responsibilities include leasing, fostering strong owner relationships, managing tenant relations, and managing property maintenance to uphold property value and client satisfaction.

Skills & Interests:
My strengths are improving tenant and owner satisfaction, project management, planning, budgeting & forecasting, multi-family Properties, lease ups, and vendor management. Outside of work, I enjoy all things homemaking and weekend motorcycle trips exploring small towns in Colorado.

In 2019, I transitioned into single-family property management, broadening my skill set and allowing me to focus more directly on the unique needs of property owners and tenants alike. Today, I am proud to call Walters and Company my professional home, where I remain dedicated to delivering reliable, results-driven service that maximizes property value and supports client goals.

Hobbies and Fun: Outside of work, I am deeply committed to community engagement and leadership. I currently serve on the board of a nonprofit organization, which provides me the opportunity to give back and contribute to meaningful local initiatives. I also enjoy organizing several golf tournaments each year, combining my passion for the sport with community involvement. In addition, I serve as a coach for a local high school basketball team, a role that allows me to mentor student-athletes and support their development both on and off the court.

When I am not working or volunteering, you will most often find me on one of Colorado’s many golf courses. Golf has been both a passion and a pastime, offering me balance, focus, and the chance to enjoy the outdoors in the state I proudly call home.

I started my maintenance and construction career in 2017 with the AAMP Maintenance Apprenticeship Program. This provided me with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills that kick-started my career. My generalized understanding of various trades allowed me to thrive within the residential maintenance industry. I have extensive experience performing maintenance on single-family, multi-family, and senior living homes. 
I have taken opportunities throughout my career to learn more about various trades. Outside of residential maintenance, I also have experience with: electrical contracting work, building demolition, residential landscaping, commercial landscaping, steel fabrication, underground construction including pipe installation and utility rough-ins, concrete repair, asphalt repair, general contracting for new residential builds, and even heavy equipment operation.  
I have 7 years of construction and maintenance experience.

I’ve held a variety of titles throughout my career ranging from Apprentice and Laborer to Lead Technician and GC. Overall, I’ve kept my career within construction and maintenance and have assumed more responsibilities as I’ve gained more experience and knowledge. 

Current Role
I am the Tech Manager, Chief Inspector, Truck Fleet Manager, HR Assistant, IT Assistant, Cyber Security Specialist, and Forklift Operator for Walters & Company 

My main responsibilities include overseeing our maintenance team, performing building inspections, project management and quality control, performing work orders, and eating Zach’s breakfast leftovers.  

I have been with Walters & Company for 1 year.

I enjoy the diversity of my work the most. I have a host of diverse responsibilities, and each day provides new challenges to overcome. 

With my multifaceted expertise and meticulous attention to detail, I excel in delivering an unmatched experience. I possess the ability to effectively lead a highly competent team of maintenance professionals while simultaneously executing tasks with the same level of excellence, ensuring exceptional results.

Individual members of my team have obtained numerous, diverse, and specialized skills throughout their own careers. This ensures that our maintenance team overall is well rounded and well- equipped to handle any maintenance concern.

Skills and Expertise
I excel most with electrical repairs, building inspections, physically demanding and laborious jobs, and project management. 
I have been involved in numerous large-scale projects, including: 

  • Landscaping for Sky Ridge Hospital
  • Remodeling of homes throughout the Front Range, including multi-million dollar homes in Sedalia.
  • Electrical rough-in for multiple hospitals including Anchutz and UCHealth in Aurora.
  • Fiber-optic rough-in for multiple cities in the South Denver Metro Area.
  • Plumbing rough-in for universities such as DU and CU Boulder.

Hobbies, Interests, and Fun Facts
I enjoy a number of hobbies outside of work such as: paintball, hiking, board games, video games, and obsessing over my dog, Duke.
Though I never competed, I have coached D2 and D3 level paintball players.
I also enjoy traveling. I’ve traveled all over the US, and I’ve traveled to the Bahamas, India, and Japan.
I am most passionate about my health and spending time with family, friends, and my dog.
I give back to my community by providing maintenance and labor services for friends, family, and neighbors.

Future Goals:
My goal is to continue to learn more about as many trades as possible. I’m proud to have a diverse set of skills, and I want to continue to grow those skills.
